I've just been reading a new anthology by women poker players called , and it's prompted me to start a new section just for and about the ladies of poker. I've met many of the top women pros and played with more than a few fiercely good women poker players. The numbers of women playing, which used to be few, just keeps growing and growing. To help facilitate more and more women raise to the top of the crop, I've created a top picks for resources for poker playing women.

Meanwhile, when you think of the best of the best, a few obvious women poker players come to mind, and I have my own opinions on who the very best is... but what about you?
